Denman College with Textile Beas

Last weekend I taught my 'Hidden Treasures' book class for a lovely group of ladies called the Textile Beas.
Here they are, smiling and still alive after a hectic, fun filled and action packed weekend!

We turned brown parcel paper and stretched canvases into  hard backed books.
We made miniature books to hide in the cover ressesses.
Papers were decorated and fabric was altered, to make the pages.
All sorts of techniques, including image transfer were used to tell our stories.
The grounds were stunning , full of bird song and quiet, peaceful places.
I hope the Beas enjoyed their weekend as much as I did.

The books are gorgeous, and so are you all! I'm sure they enjoyed the workshop, I wish I had been there too.
